The second event was held in 2007 in Donetsk Oblast, on my organic farm with 500 hectares of land and various crops. The experience here was successful, because we took one of the local varieties that worked. Later, in 2018, I used it to develop my own garlic variety, Irene, which is now officially registered in Ukraine. That's when I decided to start working with planting material on a professional level.

During the course of our business, we have signed license agreements for all possible varieties, tested domestic and foreign varieties, compared them, and practically searched for those that are more suitable for Ukraine and a successful garlic business in general. As a result, we confidently settled on three varieties - Irene, Lyubasha and Duchesne.
We have planted garlic brought from different parts of the world many times, but nothing good has ever come of it. This also applies to the French varieties Messidor and Hermidor, which were once popular in Ukraine.

It is known for its ability to produce a rich harvest.
The fruits of this variety are well stored, retaining their qualities and freshness for a long period of time.
Irene garlic has a bright aroma and a pungent, rich flavor, making it ideal for culinary use.
The variety is characterized by increased resistance to fungal diseases and adverse conditions.
In 1980, he graduated from high school with honors and entered the State Agricultural University. He graduated in 1985, served in the army, worked in the KSP, and did party work.
Since 1992, he became one of the first farmers in Ukraine! In 1998, he was elected chairman of the CAE (reforming, land sharing ....) and established a large-scale independent agricultural business, then moved to Donetsk and started a new organic farm.
My wife Iryna sometimes says that if I were to get married now, I would choose garlic over her, because I actually spend more time around garlic than around her..... But seriously, garlic is actually a very unique vegetable crop that consistently yields a really solid profit year after year, and at the same time is also a niche and stable currency crop!
And my first acquaintance with garlic took place in the last century, and then our visits became more frequent and closer.
So in 2007, I sowed 6 hectares of garlic with a balloon. Since then, the airplane has become the starting point of my garlic business, from which I began to acquire professional knowledge and experience.
During this time, garlic crops on my farm alone have grown to almost 100 hectares. I have already developed many technological solutions for growing garlic, written more than 20 articles, made many visits, speeches, presentations at various forums and conferences. On the basis of my farm, 8 scientific and practical seminars on garlic were held.
Director of the Spanish company Iren AGRO SL Sergiy Parashchenko took part in the international exhibition Fruit Attraction 2024 held in Madrid. This event was an important step in the promotion of the Ukrainian garlic variety Irene on the European market.
We presented planting material of the Irene variety, which is distinguished by its high yield, disease resistance and excellent taste. The visitors, including industry experts and potential partners, highly appreciated the quality of the products and the company's innovative approaches.
During the exhibition, Sergiy Viktorovych had the opportunity to meet with leading garlic producers from the Albacete region, such as Spring Garlic, COOPERATIVA SAN ISIDRO and Ajos de Las Pedroñeras.
These meetings became the basis for launching a joint project to grow Irene garlic using Ukrainian air bulbs, which have already produced the first sprouts in our partners' fields.
This cooperation will result not only in expanding the cultivation of the Ukrainian variety in Spain, but also in strengthening the international presence of Iren AGRO SL. Fruit Attraction 2024 became a platform that confirmed the potential of Ukrainian agribusiness and opened new horizons for successful partnership.
