I implemented everything new in agriculture that appeared in Ukraine in the nineties, from drip irrigation to greenhouses (trying to grow 3 crops in one season). That was also the time when I made my first entry into the garlic topic, though it was unsuccessful, and I made a lot of mistakes. We bought some garlic of unknown origin in the Crimea in the hope that a miracle would happen and we would get a fantastic harvest, but very soon it ended up with almost nothing.<\/p>\n

The second event was held in 2007 in Donetsk Oblast, on my organic farm with 500 hectares of land and various crops. The experience here was successful, because we took one of the local varieties that worked. Later, in 2018, I used it to develop my own garlic variety, Irene, which is now officially registered in Ukraine.
